Our client, a leader in the Automation industry, is actively seeking a talented Automation Engineer to join their team in Gauteng, South Africa.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Education:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Electronic Engineering, B-Tech, or a related discipline.<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience in SQL and database programming, enabling you to create and manage robust automation systems.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in C programming (a desirable skill).<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on experience with PLC systems such as Siemens, Rockwell, and Schneider.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with SCADA platforms like WinCC, Wonderware (Intouch), and Ignition.<\/li>\n<li>Ideally, 3-5 years of experience in automation engineering (candidates with less experience will also be considered).<\/li>\n<li>Possession of a valid driver&#8217;s license and access to personal transportation.<\/li>\n<li>Flexibility and willingness to work outside of Gauteng for project-related travel.<\/li>\n<li>Strong problem-solving aptitude and a proactive approach to challenges.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and an ability to collaborate within diverse teams.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Job Experience &amp; Skills Required:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As an Automation Engineer, you will collaborate with a dedicated team of professionals to design, develop, and implement automation solutions that drive operational efficiency.
