Your portfolio will cover the provision of pharmaceutical care by taking responsibility for the patient&#8217;s medicine-related needs, and being accountable for meeting these needs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Minimum\u00a0<\/strong><strong><u>Requirements<\/u><\/strong><strong>:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Grade 12 \/ Matric<\/li>\n<li>Basic Pharmacist Assistance qualification<\/li>\n<li>Registered with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC)<\/li>\n<li>Working experience on Unisolv<\/li>\n<li>Computer literate \u2013 MS Office<\/li>\n<li>Sound numerical skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong command of the English language and a second language<\/li>\n<li>Willing and able to work retail hours<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Advantageous:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Knowledge of Retail\/ FMCG operations<\/li>\n<li>3rd Additional Language<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of or experience in SAP and E-Scripting<\/li>\n<li>Drug and family planning, and complementary medicine<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Assist with\u00a0the sale of Schedule 1 and Schedule 2 medicines or scheduled substances<\/li>\n<li>Assist with the compounding, manipulation or preparation of a non-sterile medicine or scheduled substance according to a formula and standard operating procedures approved by the responsible pharmacist<\/li>\n<li>Assist with the manufacturing of a non-sterile medicine or scheduled substance according to a formula and standard operating procedures approved by the responsible pharmacist<\/li>\n<li>Assist with\u00a0re-packaging of medicine<\/li>\n<li>Assist with\u00a0the distribution and control of the stock of Schedule 1 to Schedule 5 medicines or scheduled substances<\/li>\n<li>Assist with\u00a0the ordering of medicine and scheduled substances up to, and including, Schedule 6 according to an instruction of a person authorised in terms of the Medicines Act to purchase or obtain such medicine or scheduled substance<\/li>\n<li>Assist with the reading and preparation of a prescription\u2019 the selection, manipulation or compounding of the medicine;
