The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in designing, architecting and building cloud solutions on one or more of the major cloud platforms, such as\u00a0<strong>Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Amazon Web Services (AWS)<\/strong>. Must have 5 years\u00a0<strong>VMWare expertise for cloud solutions<\/strong>. This role will involve collaborating with the sales and technical teams to\u00a0<strong>create technical write-ups and solution architectures<\/strong>\u00a0for prospective clients, as well as the design and building internal cloud infrastructure comprising of compute, storage and networking.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications and Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Matric or diploma in Computer Science and VMWare Certifications.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Managed Service or Cloud Service Provider role.<\/li>\n<li>Proven expertise in designing and architecting cloud solutions on Azure, GCP, AWS and VMWare cloud solutions<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of cloud services, virtualization, networking, and security.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication and presentation skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.<\/li>\n<li>Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Google Professional Cloud Architect) are a plus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Cloud Infrastructure Design and Architecture:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Lead the design and architecture of cloud solutions for clients based on their specific requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Assess client needs and recommend appropriate cloud services and configurations on private \/ public and hyperscaler clouds.<\/li>\n<li>Create detailed technical documentation and diagrams outlining proposed solutions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Presales Support:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Collaborate with the sales team to understand client objectives and challenges.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and present compelling technical proposals to clients, demonstrating the value of proposed solutions.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in client meetings and discussions to answer technical inquiries and address concerns.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Solution Development:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Work closely with the technical teams to translate client requirements into actionable technical solutions.<\/li>\n<li>Identify and recommend best practices for cloud infrastructure design and optimization.<\/li>\n<li>Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and trends to provide innovative solutions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Technical Write-ups:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Produce high-quality technical write-ups and solution architecture documents that clearly outline proposed technical solutions.<\/li>\n<li>Articulate the benefits and advantages of the proposed solutions in a way that resonates with clients.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Client Relationship Management:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing technical expertise and exceptional service.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with clients to refine and customize solutions based on their evolving needs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Other Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Understanding of virtualization, hybrid computing environments, storage technology and cloud native technologies<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of cloud networking and security.<\/li>\n<li>Advising on and the writing of automation playbooks using tools such as\u00a0<strong>Morpheus and Hostbill<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Translating client\u2019s workload requirements into specific systems, applications and\/or process designs.<\/li>\n<li>Must understand the requirements and put up quality proposals for Data Centre Transformation and Managed Services<\/li>\n<li>Ability to conclusively present and defend technical solutions through strong presentation skills and executive client management.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to communicate effectively at CIO and Chief Architect level<\/li>\n<li>Ability to handle multiple complex proposals, with tight deadlines concurrently<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate ability to write and present effective materials, including presentations, status reporting, technical diagrams and flowcharts<\/li>\n<li>Ability to collaborate with a team working across geographically dispersed locations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.careers24.com\/login\/?returnurl=\/jobs\/apply\/2062429\"><strong>Click Here!<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong> October 31 2023<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Datacentrix is a leading, empowered ICT integrator that provides high performing and secure ICT solutions to corporate South Africa and the country\u2019s public services sector.
