You will serve as a key connection point between quantitative development and business operational teams, helping to align strategies with data insights.<\/p>\n<p>Your primary duties will include designing data models, gathering and extracting information, writing code, maintaining data documentation, communicating results, and collaborating with data team members. As part of your role, you will build data pipelines and perform ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, extracting data from various sources, transforming it, and loading it into a centralized repository like a data warehouse.<\/p>\n<p>You will maintain and manage various internal databases such as SQL, MongoDB, Document DB, among others, design new data structures, and assist in implementing new data lake\/warehouse systems. Furthermore, you will oversee daily data flows, carry out data validations, and ensure timely data delivery to consumers. You will also be tasked with building reports and dashboards on top of preprocessed data and drawing out insights from it, using business intelligence tools like Power BI, Tableau and Jupyter Notebook.<\/p>\n<p>A strong understanding of cloud-based data storage mechanisms like Azure and AWS is essential, and the ability to guide and inform our team about these technologies will be a significant part of your role.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Result Areas:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Designing data models, extracting and transforming information, and maintaining data documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Building data pipelines and performing ETL operations.<\/li>\n<li>Building reports and dashboards and drawing insights from preprocessed data using business intelligence tools like Power Bi, Tableau and Jupyter Notebook.<\/li>\n<li>Communicating results and collaborating with data team members to bridge the gap between data and business operations.<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining and managing various internal databases (SQL, MongoDB, DocumentDB, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Designing and implementing new data structures and data lake\/warehouse systems.<\/li>\n<li>Building, managing, and overseeing daily data flows, validations, and deliveries to data consumers.<\/li>\n<li>Leveraging cloud-based data storage mechanisms, specifically Azure and AWS, to optimize data handling processes.<\/li>\n<li>Implementing data validation protocols.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Performance Metrics will be evaluated based on:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Successfully develop and implementation of data projects.<\/li>\n<li>Efficiency in Business-As-Usual (BAU) operational oversight.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to provide high-quality service to clients.<\/li>\n<li>Candidates should be aware that ongoing learning and staying up to date with developments in relevant technology will be crucial for this role.
