Good health and quality of life is what motivates us to provide healthcare solutions and support for those who need it most.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Clinical Nurse Practitioner<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong> Cape Town<br \/>\n<strong>Salary:\u00a0<\/strong>Market Related<br \/>\n<strong>Job Type:<\/strong> Permanent<br \/>\n<strong>Sectors:<\/strong>\u00a0Medical<br \/>\n<strong>Reference:<\/strong> 69029<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Vacancy Details<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are looking for a Clinical Nurse Practitioner to support initiation of HIV infected clients on ART, PrEP, STI treatment, NIMART mentoring and ensure full implementation of the 90 90 90 activities.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Duties and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>To champion all ANOVA 90-90-90 activities and oversee ANOVA staff at facilities (lead facility meetings and data review, monitor attendance and liaise between ANOVA and the facility)<\/li>\n<li>Work with the outreach teams to get referrals and to initiate ART for eligible HIV infected clients including PrEP and attend MDT to support community recalls<\/li>\n<li>Provide follow up care for patients on treatment in line with DoH HIV Management guidelines as well as Anova work plan and Facility 90-90-90 plans<\/li>\n<li>Routinely monitor performance &amp; registers of (TB\/HIV\/STI) programmes at facility level and provide mentorship &amp; technical support where required<\/li>\n<li>Identify poor performing indicators, put together quality improvement (QI) plans and implement as agreed upon with the facility and ANOVA team<\/li>\n<li>Identify training needs at facility level and arrange in-service training where needed<\/li>\n<li>Train clinic staff on MSM Diversity trainer and biomedical training and mentor staff at facilities<\/li>\n<li>Use relevant M&amp;E tools to report weekly to Anova sub-district team on number of clients initiated on ART and TPT<\/li>\n<li>Support facilities with implementation of I-ACT support groups and Chronic treatment clubs in line with Anova\u2019s work plan<\/li>\n<li>Ensure holistic care is provided example acute and chronic condition of the PLHIV<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications, Experience and Skills Required<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>A degree or diploma qualification as a Professional Nurse<\/li>\n<li>Midwifery is a requirement<\/li>\n<li>Clinical Assessment Treatment &amp; Care (PHC Nurse Clinician)<\/li>\n<li>Registration as a Professional Nurse with the South African Nursing Council<\/li>\n<li>NIMART trained (western cape) and certified as competent to work independently<\/li>\n<li>NIMART mentor certificate would be advantageous<\/li>\n<li>At least 4 years\u2019 experience in working at a clinic (PHC or CHC) facility<\/li>\n<li>At least 2 years NIMART experience<\/li>\n<li>Familiar with latest HIV Management, PrEP, STI and TB and guidelines<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>Good report writing skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong organizational skills, including time management and multi-tasking skills<\/li>\n<li>Driver\u2019s License is required and ability to drive<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.careers24.com\/login\/?returnurl=\/jobs\/apply\/2066396\"><strong>Click Here!<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong> November 14 2023<\/p>\n<p>In our Employment Equity goals and plan, preference will be given to suitable applicants from designated groups as defined in the Employment Equity Act 55 of 1998 and subsequent amendments thereto.<\/p>\n<p>Anova Health Institute is a provider of essential health services and therefore has a mandatory vaccination policy.
