Reward Level 19\u00a0 162\/2010\/03<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>IT Governance and business process management:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Design, recommend and document:<\/li>\n<li>IT governance structures and framework as well as IT process improvements to optimize resource utilization and service delivery;<\/li>\n<li>Identifying and implementing initiatives to improve resource usage, performance and capacity \u2013 e.g. process optimization techniques;<\/li>\n<li>Act as a focal point for all IT governance and process management issues;<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that the IT processes, associated techniques and methods are regularly reviewed and audited; attend to related improvement requirements;<\/li>\n<li>Revise policies, processes, procedures and plans where necessary.<\/li>\n<li>Security, Networks and Compliance:<\/li>\n<li>Develop and maintain related policies and a supporting set of standards ensuring appropriate authorization and endorsement from senior IT and business management;<\/li>\n<li>Communicate and publicize the Information Security policies and standards to all appropriate parties as well as compliance<\/li>\n<li>Identify and classify IT and information assets (systems and data) at the level of control and protection required;<\/li>\n<li>Perform security risk analysis and risk management in conjunction with Availability and IT service Continuity management;<\/li>\n<li>Design security controls and develop security plans;<\/li>\n<li>Develop and document procedures for operating and maintaining security controls;<\/li>\n<li>Promote, create awareness and educate on security;<\/li>\n<li>Maintain a set of security controls and documentation, review and audit all controls;<\/li>\n<li>Ensure changes are assessed for impact;<\/li>\n<li>Ensure confidentiality, integrity and availability of the service is maintained via SLA\u2019s and that there is conformity;<\/li>\n<li>Design and document network and security solutions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Engagement and Contract Management:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide assistance in developing and reviewing SLA\u2019s, contracts, agreements and any such other;<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that value for money is obtained from all suppliers;<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all supplier processes are consistent and interface to all corporate supplier strategies, processes and standard terms and conditions;<\/li>\n<li>Maintain and review supplier and contracts databases;<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that any underpinning contracts, agreements or SLA\u2019s are aligned to business;<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that roles between lead and sub contractors is documented and that interface and dependencies are scoped;<\/li>\n<li>Review lead supplier processes to ensure that any sub contracted suppliers are meeting their contractual obligations<\/li>\n<li>Performing contract or SLA \u2013 review annually;<\/li>\n<li>Maintain a process for dealing with contractual disputes and manage such process;<\/li>\n<li>Maintain a process for dealing with expected end, early end or service transfers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>IT Business Continuity Management and Disaster Recovery:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Implement and maintain the IT service continuity management process as aligned to business;<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all SCM plans, risks and activities underpin and align with all BCM plans;<\/li>\n<li>Perform risk assessments and manage risk to prevent disasters;<\/li>\n<li>Assess potential service continuity issues;<\/li>\n<li>Perform post mortem review of service continuity tests;<\/li>\n<li>Maintain a comprehensive testing schedule which includes testing and continuity.<\/li>\n<li>IT Financial Management:<\/li>\n<li>Manage the IT budget;
