Cape.<\/p>\n<p>Working within a nursing complement of +\/- 30 employees, the candidate\u2019s primary purpose will be to contribute to the team\u2019s efforts in terms of providing quality, safe care (in a patient-centred manner) that contributes to patients\u2019 activities and participation towards leading meaningful lives.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The ideal candidate for this position is an individual who is:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Humble<\/li>\n<li>Naturally curious<\/li>\n<li>Self-disciplined<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Persistent<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Additionally, this position REQUIREMENTS<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Applicants\u2019 CVs will be evaluated against the following criteria:<\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"EN-US\">The applicant has a diploma or degree in general nursing science (as well as an up-to-date registration with the SANC).<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"EN-US\">The applicant has minimum of 3 years\u2019 nursing experience.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Candidates with previous working experience in a physical-rehabilitation setting, will be preferred.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Suitable applicants will be invited for an interview, during which they will need to demonstrate:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Their understanding of the organisation and its vision, and the extent to which they embody the values and personality traits required by an ideal candidate for this vacancy.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Motivation to work in-\/an interest in the physical-rehabilitation sector.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Strong clinical skills, and proven proficiency in the core competencies of nursing.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Excellent awareness of-\/sensitivity to different cultural\/religious practices, and proven ability to incorporate same into their daily work routine.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Effective teamworking skills (the ability to collaborate with others in line with the organisation\u2019s purpose, and to gain the trust, commitment, and cooperation of others.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Proven ability to exercise self-management, as well as a high resilience to stress.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Excellent communication skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of individuals and professional groups (both internally and externally).<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Excellent listening skills, and the ability to negotiate with-\/persuade others.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Creative problem-solving ability, flexibility (willingness to change), and the ability to flourish in a dynamic work environment.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"EN-US\">Proven willingness to assist colleagues and members of their team in the daily execution of their duties (as necessary to enhance performance and
