These positions will be located at our Durban branches.<\/p>\n<p>The position reports to the Branch Manager<\/p>\n<p><strong>Main purpose of job:<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To effectively quote and sign up potential clients requiring the services of ADT Security.<\/li>\n<li>Source and sell armed monitoring and armed response agreements to potential new customers<\/li>\n<li>Source and sell new and alarm system upgrades, additions to alarm systems, CCTV systems, electric fences to potential customersAchieve and exceed monthly sales targets for new customers and hardware sales<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualification &amp; experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Previous sales experience, with proven track record in sales preferably capital goods sales (not FMCG)<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of intruder detection equipment such as IDS, DSC alarm systems is advantageous<\/li>\n<li>Matric or equivalent<\/li>\n<li>Psira grade C<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job requirements &amp; other attributes:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Self-motivated and energetic<\/li>\n<li>Selling skills<\/li>\n<li>Good organisational and time management skills<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication (written &amp; verbal), presentation and negotiation skills<\/li>\n<li>Computer Literate (MS Office, Email and Internet)<\/li>\n<li>Presentable and of sober habits<\/li>\n<li>Valid driver\u2019s licence and own reliable vehicle<\/li>\n<li>Hunter for new business<\/li>\n<li>Aptitude for electronic and technical equipment (alarms and alarm monitoring platforms)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duties:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Generate and close self-sourced deals<\/li>\n<li>Follow up on all leads received internally and via telesales<\/li>\n<li>Sell security solutions to new and existing clients<\/li>\n<li>Create solid &amp; long-standing relationships with estate agents, builders, architects etc.<\/li>\n<li>Daily, weekly and monthly reporting<\/li>\n<li>Motivated to achieve and exceed sale targets<\/li>\n<li>Maintain all administrative duties pertaining to sales<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Performance Standards<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Achieve both targets for revenue sales &amp; for new clients<\/li>\n<li>Maintain a high standard of relationship with existing Estate clients<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all leads and quotes are followed up on time<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Competencies (Technical &amp; Behavioural)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Drive for results<\/li>\n<li>Action oriented<\/li>\n<li>Customer focus<\/li>\n<li>Perseverance<\/li>\n<li>Functional\/Technical skills<\/li>\n<li>Problem solving<\/li>\n<li>Technical Learning<\/li>\n<li>Assertive<\/li>\n<li>Sense of urgency<\/li>\n<li>Adaptable<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must have own vehicle and drivers license<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.careers24.com\/login\/?returnurl=\/jobs\/apply\/2072955\"><strong>Click Here!<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong> November 10 2023<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>We reserve the right not to make an appointment to any advertised position.
