Calculating wages and applicable deductions based on employee attendance, sickness, tax liabilities and timesheet records etc. Enter payroll information into central system for processing<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Key Performance\u00a0Areas:<\/b><br \/>\nDuties will include but not be limited to<\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Compile Job Costing Batches for Seagoing vessels, on Excel<\/li>\n<li>Assist with Macros and Importing of Batches for Monthly pay run<\/li>\n<li>Sourcing information and preparation of routine as well as ad-hoc reports<\/li>\n<li>Assist with General Enquiries and Admin<\/li>\n<li>Adheres to payroll policies and procedures and complies with relevant law<\/li>\n<li>At all times ensure compliance with Sea Harvest Group systems and operating procedures<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications &amp; Experience:<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Qualification in an industry-related field\/ Payroll Diploma advantageous<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 2\/3 years\u2019 experience in a related field<\/li>\n<li>Solid knowledge of payroll principles, processes, and procedures<\/li>\n<li>Solid understanding of relevant legislation<\/li>\n<li>High level of computer literacy essential(Excel and Sage VIP)<\/li>\n<li>Excellent administration skills and good communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Good time management and organisational skills<\/li>\n<li>Detail-oriented, Proactive, Pressure resilient, Independent and needs to be a Team player<\/li>\n<li>Strong attention to detail<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sea Harvest is a South African deep sea trawling company established in 1964 on the Atlantic West Coast of South Africa.
