Motus Aftermarket Parts (MAP) has various sustainability initiatives underway, to not only drive awareness around, but also reduces the impact of its activities on the environment.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: General Worker<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong> North West<br \/>\n<strong>Salary:<\/strong>\u00a0Market Related<br \/>\n<strong>Job Type:<\/strong> Permanent<br \/>\n<strong>Sectors:<\/strong> Sales, Automotive<br \/>\n<strong>Reference:<\/strong> 73360<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><i class=\"fas fa-print\"><\/i><strong>Vacancy Details<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Midasis searching for a target driven and enthusiastic\u00a0General Worker\u00a0to join the branch in\u00a0Schweizer-Reneke.\u00a0 To perform general warehouse duties such as stock taking, binning, picking, packing, checking, moving stock, and ensuring that the warehouse is always clean.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Grade 12, Literacy and Numeracy equivalent<\/li>\n<li>At least 3 Years in a warehouse and or logistics environment- Desirable<\/li>\n<li>Spares\/Motor\/Engine parts knowledge, warehouse systems and procedures<\/li>\n<li>Must be efficient, accurate, focused and attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Must have numeracy and literacy skills<\/li>\n<li>Self-motivated and willing to go the extra mile<\/li>\n<li>Must be a team player<\/li>\n<li>Physically fit<\/li>\n<li>Honest and show integrity<\/li>\n<li>Clear criminal record<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Performance Indicators includes, but not limited to.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Binning<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure the binning of incoming merchandise and the replenishment of inventory from bulk to pick locations is performed as per standard operating procedures and requirements<\/li>\n<li>Ensure new products are allocated with bin location numbers in the correct warehouse area<\/li>\n<li>Ensure bins are updated and stock allocated to new bin locations are reported to you superior and updated<\/li>\n<li>Assist in replenishment functions<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all incoming goods are received and checked as per company standards<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Picking<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure picking of customer and branch orders are being picked timorously to meet order cut off times<\/li>\n<li>Ensure picking from bulk locations are only done as alternative bin when stock is depleted and not replenished in the picking phase or when picking bulk orders to prevent the breakage of pack sizes<\/li>\n<li>Carry out all reasonable and lawful instruction relating to work given to you by your superior<\/li>\n<li>Follow all relevant procedures to increase efficient customer satisfaction<\/li>\n<li>Assist in stock take procedures<\/li>\n<li>Ensure housekeeping is done daily<\/li>\n<li>Ensure double checks are done to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and to prevent loss of inventory<\/li>\n<li>Ensure set standard operational targets are achieved consistently<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0Scanner Control<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Issue scanners to all operators daily.<\/li>\n<li>Book out scanners on the electronic app.<\/li>\n<li>Receive scanners back from operators, inspect scanner for damage and book back into stock on the electronic app.<\/li>\n<li>Report any damage to the supervisor<\/li>\n<li>Complete the daily scanner issue spreadsheet<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.careers24.com\/login\/?returnurl=\/jobs\/apply\/2082100\">Click Here!<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong>\u00a0November 09 2023<\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>\nEquity Statement<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At Motus we are committed to Employment Equity when recruiting internally and externally.
