An industry leading provider of structured cabling and ICT infrastructure solutions. which is based in the Gauteng province and within Centurion, is recruiting for an experienced and skilled Accounting Assistant
\nExperience<\/strong>
\nThe successful incumbent must possess at least two (2) years\u2019 experience operating in an accounting role.<\/p>\n

Formal qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Matric (grade 12)<\/li>\n
  • Qualification in Accounting<\/li>\n
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Package (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc)<\/li>\n
  • Proficiency in management systems (SAGE Evolution) is required<\/li>\n
  • Valid driver\u2019s licence code 08<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • Billing, invoicing and processing of credits<\/li>\n
    • Liaising with Operational Department and project managers to resolve outstanding queries<\/li>\n
    • Collection of outstanding payments owed by debtors<\/li>\n
    • Sending out of monthly statements to customers<\/li>\n
    • Sending out of invoices \/ PODs when requested by clients.<\/li>\n
    • Liaising with clients with regards to outstanding debt and payments<\/li>\n
    • Administration of debtor accounts<\/li>\n
    • Processing of invoices from bill of materials and\/or quotations<\/li>\n
    • Handling communications with clients via phone, email, and in-person<\/li>\n
    • Performing basic administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, answering phones, processing emails, etc<\/li>\n
    • Assisting with audits, fact checks, and resolving discrepancies<\/li>\n
    • Ensuring compliance with accounting and tax laws<\/li>\n
    • Evaluating internal management systems, procedures, and risks in order to provide recommendations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
