The Accountant will work closely with the Group Financial Manager and will be responsible for assisting the Finance Department along with the Project Management Team with various tasks and processes to guarantee the financial operations of the company and projects run smoothly.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li><strong>Bookkeeping and filing:<\/strong>\u00a0Recording financial transactions such as invoices, receipts, and payments accurately and timely in Sage\/Xero. Filing of paperwork.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Data entry:<\/strong>\u00a0Entering financial data into Sage\/Xero or spreadsheets, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial reports.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Accounts Payable:<\/strong>\u00a0Ensuring that invoices are received and processed on time, managing purchase orders and managing invoices for payment.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Assist with Bank Reconciliation<\/strong>: ensuring that bank statements match the company&#8217;s accounting records and identifying any discrepancies.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Assist with materials and stock reconciliation:<\/strong>\u00a0ensuring accurate processing of material entries and working closely with procurement team to ensure stock balances and stock counts are performed timeously and accurately.
