Using print and electronic advertising media as well as headhunting techniques, PeopleFinder identifies, assesses and places high quality candidates to help companies meet their talent and executive needs.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Optimisation Engineer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong> Cape Town Northern Suburbs<br \/>\n<strong>Salary:<\/strong>\u00a0Market Related<br \/>\n<strong>Job Type:<\/strong> Permanent<br \/>\n<strong>Sectors:<\/strong> Warehousing | Engineering | Logistics<br \/>\n<strong>Reference:<\/strong> 2047415<br \/>\n<i class=\"fas fa-print\"><\/i><strong>Vacancy Details<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Our client in the retail industry requires the service of an analytical Optimisation Engineer who has thorough knowledge of Supply Chain\/ Logistics or Warehousing.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key performance areas:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Plan, facilitate and execute continuous improvement events.<\/li>\n<li>Identify opportunities for process improvement, waste removal and cost reduction.<\/li>\n<li>Managing the overall planning, control, stability and delivery of projects to ensure the project is delivered safely, on time, on scope and on budget.<\/li>\n<li>Engage and obtain feedback from key stakeholders and manage stakeholder relationships across the business.<\/li>\n<li>Lead long term projects to drive productivity, continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence.<\/li>\n<li>Working closely with the operations and supply chain team to recognize opportunities and implement and sustain improvements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Candidate Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The successful candidate must have:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Matric with a degree in B.Eng. Engineering \/ B.Com degree in Logistics or Supply Chain<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma Methodology and associated tools will be advantageous<\/li>\n<li>Excellent computer literacy<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in MS Suite including advanced skills in Microsoft Excel<\/li>\n<li>Experience in FMCG \/ Retail \/ Supply Chain \/ Distribution Centre Environment would be advantageous<\/li>\n<li>Experience using statistical analysis and leading continuous improvement events<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with\u00a0 a demonstrated ability to extensively analyse business processes and workflows<\/li>\n<li>Experience with Project teams will be advantageous<\/li>\n<li>Must be detail orientated<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Their confidence in and partnership with us inspires them to return to us and recommend us time and time again.
