We believe that we can connect the right candidate with the right client, permanently or on a shorter-term basis.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: BI Data Sourcng Analyst<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong> Sandton<br \/>\n<strong>Salary:<\/strong>\u00a0Market Related<br \/>\n<strong>Job Type:<\/strong> Permanent<br \/>\n<strong>Sectors:<\/strong> Banking, IT<br \/>\n<strong>Reference:<\/strong> 86096<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Vacancy Details<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Our client in the Banking Industry is looking for a BI Data Sourcing Analyst to join their team!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Purpose:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To support and maintain the data warehouse in line with the data model; metadata repository and to provide business intelligence analysis through performing strategic and operational support.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Structure data into compliance standards by adhering to metadata governance procedures according to the client&#8217;s documented standards and formats.<\/li>\n<li>Manage final transformed data content by complying to prescribed standards for reviewing and publishing.<\/li>\n<li>Assist\/govern population of datamart and metadata repository by complying to standards, systems, processes and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Support business units by providing consulting services that delivers data and information relevant to their business.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to internal\/external information sharing sessions by attending formal and informal meetings.<\/li>\n<li>Manage vendor relationship interactions by conforming to vendor management office guidelines and principles.<\/li>\n<li>Deliver work according to customer expectations by prioritizing, planning and implementing requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Utilize resources by adhering to standards, policies and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Align and continuously improve set processes by identifying innovation opportunities.<\/li>\n<li>Identify and mitigate risk by executing within governance.<\/li>\n<li>Resolve incidents by logging and tracking through correct channels.<\/li>\n<li>Keep abreast of legislation and other industry changes that impacts on role by reading the relevant newsletters, websites and attending sessions.<\/li>\n<li>Understand and embrace the client&#8217;s vision and demonstrate the values through interaction with team and stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Improve personal capability and stay abreast of developments in field of expertise by identifying training courses and career progression for self through input and feedback from managers.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure personal growth and enable effectiveness in performance of roles and responsibilities by ensuring all learning activities are completed, experience practiced and certifications obtained and\/or maintained within specified time frames.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure information is provided correctly to stakeholders by maintaining knowledge sharing knowledge with team.<\/li>\n<li>Participate and support corporate social responsibility initiatives for the achievement of key business strategies.<\/li>\n<li>Identify and recommend opportunities to enhance processes, systems and policies and support implementation of new processes, policies and systems.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Preferred qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Degree in Information Technology or Business Management, Mathematical\/Statistic<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Experience required:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>8 years relevant experience of which 3-5 years&#8217; experience is in a data management \/business role.<\/li>\n<li>SQL experience (essential).<\/li>\n<li>Experience in documentation (essential).<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of Metadata and how it works (essential).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.careers24.com\/login\/?returnurl=\/jobs\/apply\/2121171\"><strong>Click Here!<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong> April 25 2024<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Praesignis connects data, people, and the cloud.\u00a0 Throughout the years, Praesignis has been recruiting and consulting for major South African clients focusing mostly in the IT areas.
