The Toyota Graduate Recruitment Programme<\/strong> came into being when the company recognised the need for in-house grooming of engineers. It proved successful and moved on to the recruitment of other fields of study such as HR, Marketing and IT. Every year students from various universities are requested to make an application that is coordinated by the universities local career centre. These applications are screened, short listed, and the successful candidates are requested to attend an interview and a presentation of their final year design projects. Although the crux of the of the programme centres around the recruitment of engineering students, some students from other disciplines are also recruited.<\/p>\n
