Sanlam Limited<\/strong> is a financial services group in South Africa with its head office in Bellville in the Western Cape. Established in 1918, the Group demutualised in 1998 and Sanlam Limited then listed on the JSE Limited in Johannesburg and the Namibian Stock Exchange. The Sanlam Group conducts its business through Sanlam Limited, the corporate head office and four business clusters. The corporate head office is responsible for the Group’s centralised functions such as strategic direction, financial and risk management, marketing and communications, Group human resources and corporate social investment (CSI).<\/p>\n

During the nineties Sanlam’s focus gradually shifted from life insurance to providing a broader range of financial products and services and in 1998 Sanlam was demutualised, listing on the JSE Securities Exchange, as well as the Namibian Stock Exchange on 30 November 1998. This changed Sanlam from a mutual entity into a public company with a share capital, namely Sanlam Life Insurance Ltd. At the same time a separate company, Sanlam Ltd, was installed as the parent company of the Sanlam group of businesses. The Group was also restructured into several independent businesses within a federal business structure.<\/p>\n

1.Identify sources of life stage events and set up \/ develop<\/p>\n

relationships to secure quality leads.<\/p>\n

2.Engage relevant parties and role-players in areas where partners are<\/p>\n

identified.<\/p>\n

3.Ongoing maintenance of the relationship.<\/p>\n

4.General Prospecting and business development experience.<\/p>\n

5.Provide input into prospecting workshops.<\/p>\n

6.Develop affinity marketing proposals \/ concepts.<\/p>\n

7.Identify vendors who offer these services around prospecting; evaluate<\/p>\n

and engage.<\/p>\n

8.Develop FOCUSED campaigns in conjuntion with intermediaries and<\/p>\n

distribution management.<\/p>\n

9.Negotiate database marketing agreements with affinity partners.<\/p>\n

1.Business related Degree (e.g. B.Comm).<\/p>\n

B. EXPERIENCE:-<\/strong><\/p>\n

1.Experience within Financial Industry (five(5) years).<\/p>\n

2.Sales and\/or Marketing experience.<\/p>\n

3.Strong vibrant confident nature will stand you in good stead.<\/p>\n
