Job Title: Resident House Father 
Job Location: Kewtown, Athlone
Start Date: 1 December 2018

The purpose of the Resident House Father is to manage and care for a high functional hostel with young adults who are between 18-35. The position entails supervision of the tenants and ensuring the values of the organization are met.

Responsibilities:

• Mentor and guide students
• Research and initiate appropriate activities such as life skills and fitness
• Conduct vocational, literacy, therapy, health and wellbeing workshops
• Develop and deliver good practice on life skills and participation both internally and externally
• Conduct counselling with students on a regular basis as need arises

Requirements:

• Not married
• Must be between the ages of 50 to 60 years
• Christian Values
• Healthy and fit
• Non-smoker with sober Habits
• Communication skills
• Interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
• Patient and compassionate
• Driver’s license
• Computer literacy advantageous
