Young Professional-in-Training at Transnet

The Young Professional in Training (YPT) is a 2 year programme and is intended to give young South African talent work exposure in Non-Technical departments within Transnet National Ports Authority (TNPA).

The YPT will gain practical on-the-job training and experience within the HR department at TNPA Lighthouse & Navigational Systems.

Position outputs :

On the job training / exposure will cover the following:

• HR Reporting and record keeping
• Recruitment and Selection
• Capacity Building
• Employee Relations
• SAP HCM
• Personnel Administration
• Documentation and knowledge management
• HR and Training administrative support

Qualifications & Experience :

• Grade 12 Exemption + B Degree or related Diploma in Human Resources

Knowledge required:

• Understanding of the Basic Conditions of Employment Act (BCEA) and Labour Relations Act (LRA)

Advantageous:

• Drivers licence
