Zoopy: Online Media Sales Representative

Zoopy is an online and mobile social media community, where users upload, share and interact with videos, photos and audio. By bringing all three media types into one location, we make sharing with family and friends quick and easy, from one Zoopy profile, at one URL. Zoopy recruits Online Media Sales Representative

You will need to work with our Sales Director to:
• Identify and source online and offline leads
• Strategise, conceptualise, prepare and present custom marketing proposals
• Follow up with potential clients and close deals to meet aggressive monthly sales targets
• Retain existing clients by maximising performance, optimizing creative and building ongoing opportunities
• Deliver weekly performance reports to management and clients
• See new client opportunities around every corner
• Evangelise Zoopy from coast to coast

You should bring the following skills and experience with you:
• Two to three years in an *online* sales environment essential (not negotiable – If you don’t have this, please don’t apply for the position)
• You need to be outgoing, determined and ready to hit the ground running
• Intimate knowledge of the online space in South Africa and passion for all things web and mobile
• Proven track record of initiating and closing deals
• Significant contact list of clients and leads within the industry, including agencies, that you can bring with
• You’ll need to love meetings and phone calls – email is necessary but the other two come first
• Professional self-presentation and flawless written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent computer skills and comfort with technology
• A tertiary qualification in sales and marketing ideal
• Own transport and ability to work beyond normal hours, including travel, essential
