Marketing Manager(Job Number:27206)
The Field Marketing Manager for South Africa is responsible for developing and driving awareness of the Avanade brand, both direct and with partners and to work closely with regional and country Sales leadership to create demand for Avanade services and solutions, through expanding and retaining current customer relationships and sourcing new relationships with prospects.
The role requires both strategic thinking and hands-on execution; the ability to understand complex go-to-market models, provide insight and intelligence into the business and to produce a marketing strategy and plan that includes external marketing programs and campaigns, media and analyst relations and regional internal communications. Key accountabilities will include regularly reporting on marketing activities to demonstrate ROI and contribution to sales pipeline.
Working closely with Area level (EALA – Europe, Africa and Latin America), Global Marketing and Service Line stakeholders, the role requires extensive experience of working across matrix organizations where strong collaboration and relationship skills are critical.
Avanade places great emphasis on team development and a key part of the role will be to manage, coach and develop the Nordics Field Marketing team.
Key Requirements: – 10+ years Marketing Experience, preferably in an IT Industry
– At least one years Management experience
– Bachelors Degree in Marketing or related field
– Experience in various facets of marketing, including demand generation, online, direct mail, telemarketing, web-based, media and analyst relations; thought leadership etc.
– Ability to effectively manage other professionals
– Knowledge of consulting services industry
– Experience working across levels, including executives and technical professionals
– Knowledge of Microsoft Enterprise Technologies, including MS Office
– Strong communication skills
– Knowledge of developing and implementing marketing campaigns
