JSE Limited is the largest stock exchange in Africa. It is situated at the corner of Maude Street and Gwen Lane in Sandton, Johannesburg, South Africa.

A vacancy currently Exists at the JSE to contribute to the design, development and implementation of change management strategies and plans for the JSE to ensure smooth business change implementation and transition and building a high performance values driven culture contributing to delivery of business objectiveser.

Minimum Qualification Required:

Degree in Human Resources majoring in OD or specialised Change Management Qualification or Business degree

Experience required:

Minimum 3 years experience in Change Management. Familiar with with project management methodologies and practices

Job Content:

Business and Financial Results Delivery
Apply cost effectiveness principles in planning and delivery to contribute to achievement of divisional financial targets

Contribute as professional taking responsibility for both operational and strategic change management initiatives
Contribute to implementation of the Change Management business plan to ensure delivery of focus areas for the next 3 years in support of the HR strategy
Ensure that results are delivered cost effectively by adhering to the organisation’s financial guidelines
Ensure that results are delivered in time and up to standard by adhering to agreed project timelines and standards
Create actionable deliverables through change management levers of communications plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan training plan and resistance management
Give expert change management, culture and project planning input by identifying, analysing and preparing risk mitigation tactics.
Provide input into the formalisation for the departmental budget

Stakeholder Relationship Management
Ensure that client needs are understood and met by diagnosing, researching and validating the clients’ needs
Maintain sustainable working relationship with stakeholders through ongoing engagement to ensure an understanding of their needs and maintain an open channel of communication at all times in supporting the department to achieve is business objectives.
Develop and sustain relationships with service provider/vendor/supplier administrative staff to facilitate the effective procurement to pay process with service providers/vendors/suppliers

Process Management
Manage own delivery against functional delivery plan , project plan and set timelines, identify obstacles to delivery and take appropriate action where required
Identify people related risks for each change initiative and develop and implement mitigation plans with Change Specialist and relevant project and business stakeholders
Keep abreast of change management best practice
Ensure understanding of business and the market and how to apply change management practices appropriately in way that adds value to the JSE
Contribute to the design and application of Organisational Development, Change management, culture transformation and consulting strategies /techniques to manage change in the organisation thereby improving organisational effectiveness
Identify obstacles and major challenges through continuous evaluation of processes and standards in order to ensure effective operational alignment to strategic priorities
Contribute to building of change management capabilities across the JSE through planning and implementation of activities as guided by the JSE Change Management funtional KPAs and roadmap
Apply agreed structured change management approach and methodology for allocated change initiatives inorder to facilitate the process of managing people impacts
Conduct change impact and stakeholder analysis to assess change readiness and obstacles as input into change plan
Create and implement change management plans that minimise employee resistance and maximise employee engagement as well as drive faster adoption, greater ultimate utilisation and higher proficiency on the changes impacting employees in the organisation such that business results are achieved
Create sponsor roadmap,resistance management plan, communications plan and training plans during change implementation process tp ensure effective delivery of change agenda
Manage change communication content and plan, coordinaltion and facilite change workshops to reach stakeholders and acheve change objectives
Design, develop and run reports and surveys to obtain information of effectiveness or required focus of change intiatives as well as provide inforation and status on change plan
Ensure adherence to change management methodology and requirements by educating stakeholders
Create/amend change management tools/processes/templates where required to ensure standardisation of change management practice across the JSE
Work with various stakeholders and teams in the formulation of particular plans and activities to support change implementation (i.e. change sponsors , business owners, champions,project teams ,communication team, HR teams, business analysts,process engineers , etc)
Self Management

Improve personal capability and professional growth in line with JSE objectives by discussing development needs and proposed solutions with management
Be an effective team member encouraging team work and freely sharing knowledge
Visibly live the JSE values contributing to the achievement of divisional objectives
Manage self in terms of development, delivery and act as a self starter
Keep abreast of changes in legislation or standards by conducting research and utilising networks
