PHARMACIST ASSISTANTS 5 POSTS REF NO: NDOH 51/2015
SALARY : Grade 1: R148 440 per annum. A Post-Basic Pharmacist Assistant qualification.
Registration as a Pharmacist Assistant (Post-Basic). No experience required.
Grade 2: R172 275 per annum. Qualification as above. Registration as a
Pharmacist Assistant (Post-Basic) and a minimum of five (5) years appropriate
experience after registration as a Pharmacist Assistant (Post Basic) Grade 3:
R186 687 per annum. Registration as a Pharmacist Assistant (Post-Basic) and a
minimum of thirteen (13) years appropriate experience after registration as a
pharmacist Assistant (Post Basic) Salary grade will be determined in accordance
with the above requirements as per the OSD. Originally certified certificates of
service must be submitted with your application as well as proof of registration as
a Pharmacist.

REQUIREMENTS : Qualification and years of experience required are indicated above ,Knowledge
and application of the Medicines and Related Substances Control Act, (Act 101
of 1965) ,Experience in the medicine regulatory environment will be an
advantage ,Good planning, organisational, time management, telephone
etiquette, supervisory, communication (written and verbal) and computer skills
,High degree of dedication and accurate work ,Ability to work independently.
DUTIES : Prepare documents for Committee meetings ,Record statistics ,Verify reports for
communication to the applicants ,Screening of responses and amendments ,Coordinate
the work allocated to the Administration Clerks ,Monitor the recording of
the unit databases and queries
