Job Position Summary

Purpose of the job:Efficient operation of the plant

Job specification

Specific experience required

-Experience in a production environment.

-Experience as Process Controller in either of the ff:

Steam plant

Inside Ash Environment

Water-recovery

Benfield

Octane and Condensate

Phenosolvan

Gasification

Required outputs includes and not Limited to: Functional

–          -Physically monitor production process

–          -Conduct visual inspections on the process and equipment

–          -Report process deviations to SPC and / or Group leader

–          -Communicate and assist team members in controlling the process

–          -Compile relevant area shift report at end of shift

–          -Examine equipment and complete safety checklist

–          -Report all at risk behaviours and unsafe conditions to line Group leader

Job Requirements

Qualifications and expertise required (Must)

•Grade 12 or N3 with Maths and Science

General

-Adhere to all safety regulations and work standards

-Practice good housekeeping

-Comply with all legal requirements

-Must be prepared to work shifts and on short notice at times

-Prepared to be called out sometimes when on weekend off, depending on plant requirements.

-Must have vehicle driver licence
