Candidate Requirements

Qualification:

• CA (SA) with articles (registered with SAICA)

Experience:

• Minimum of 5-7 years post articles experience in a financial management role

• Good understanding of the principles of risk management
• Sound business acumen
• Strong analytical skills
• Attention to detail
• Strategic liaison & influencing skills
• Presentation and business communication skills
• Excellent MS Office skills (advanced Excel)
• Good people management skills

Knowledge:

• Excellent knowledge and understanding of IFRS principles and methodologies
• Strong working knowledge of tax, insurance, company legislation and statutory regulations
• Strong working knowledge of funding markets, margin and balance sheet management
• Understanding and application of SAP and Sage accounting would be advantageous.
