Ampath Pathalogists: Phlebotomy Internship Programme

Enthusiastic, self-motivated achievers with a passion for the medical environment are invited to apply for our two-year Phlebotomy Learnership Programme. You will get the chance to work with patients and will be responsible for the collection of blood and body specimens for pathology testing

Requirements

• A Matric (Grade 12) with English, Biology and Maths (preference given to applicants with symbols A – D)
• Excellent communication skills in English
• A strong customer service orientation.

All applicants must be willing to undergo psychometric assessments. Candidates are expected to enter into a contractual and performance agreement with the Ampath Group.

Classroom training is based in Durban (Westridge/Mayville). However, learners may be placed for practical training at any Ampath laboratory in Durban. No accommodation or transport will be provided.
