International Tyre company seeking an individual with excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills who has the ability to work under pressure.
Valid Code 08/B Drivers License
Minimum 5 years sales experience
MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Email and Internet (Basic Level)
Tyre industry experience will be an advantage
SAP experience will be an advantage
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Customer focused approach that will ensure the attraction and retention of customers
Good time management skills and ability to work independently
Self motivated and disciplined individual who shows initiative
Ethical approach to work
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Achievement of Sales Targets: Attain 100% of sales and unit budget; Achieve sales mix as per Executive Managers IIP;Focus on selling non-BSAF products with approval and promote and sell BFSA range of products to customers; Maintain a high frequency call rate; Introduce customers to new products; Draft and carry out 6-weekly/ monthly planner; Report feedback on sales activities, results, constraints and competitor price and activities at weekly sales meeting; Assist Shared Services with the collection of outstanding monies on own accounts; Complete and schedule cold calls, networking and sales appointments as per Regional Manager: Sales IIP; Prepare presentations, and proposals; Adhere to Competitions act.
Customer Relationships: Services existing accounts, obtain orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential customers through a relationship based approached; Discuss Scrap Tyre analysis and surveys with customers and assist Service Department if required; Provide and discuss customers with regular tyre action reports; Communicate delivery and service requirements to the Sales Call Centre; Expedite the resolution of customer’s problems and complaints; Generate and maintain customer profiles.
Reporting and Administration: Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to direct line management; Complete daily call reports and discuss with line manager; Complete vehicle and fuel check lists daily; Adhere to company Policies & Procedures e.g. vehicle maintenance etc; Attend all training classes as instructed.
