Role Summary/Purpose

Sales Director – Digital Energy Power Equipment demonstrates accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. The successful candidate will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs, be involved in long-term planning, contribute to the overall strategy and manage complex issues within functional area of expertise.

Essential Responsibilities

*Own convertible orders OP for the current quarter, year, and quarter plus 4Qs for the entire Power Equipment portfolio including Power Delivery, Instrument Transformers, and Power Quality*Drive aggressive growth targets in all markets: metric targets will address volume, price, mix (penetration) and timing*Meet or exceed operational requirements: analytical reporting, Session C, operating reviews, and cost management*Lead and develop assigned Sales Managers *Build customer relationships for the purpose of Business development and Sales*Develop and implement customer strategies to drive critical growth targets, new product launch initiatives, and sales campaign plans.*Integrate information, resources, and activities within the region and/or among global regions*Customer satisfaction evaluation, plans, and follow-through*Demonstrate commercial and technical expertise in specific market by leading key opportunities to closure with the field sales organization.*Own regional input for GPB/SII planning and forecasting for Digital Energy.

Qualifications/Requirements

*Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.*At least 5 additional years of experience in industry-related sales, application engineering and/or marketing

Desired Characteristics

*Bachelors of Science degree in Engineering*Master’s in Business Administration*At least 5 years of experience leading a sales team*Strong knowledge in Power Delivery, Uninterruptible Power Supplies, Power Sensing, and Power Switching.*Commercial sales experience in all segments above.*Proven project management skills*Excellent interpersonal skills*Customer-focused mindset with proven ability to respond quickly to customer needs*Proven coordination and influencing skills, especially with HQ teams*Knowledge of customer financial drivers/needs*Able to effectively lead and energize a multi-functional team to meet sales plan*Demonstrated ability to apply Six Sigma to improve customer satisfaction; GB certification required (GE Employees Only)*High proficiency in utilizing analytical software
