Our client in the manufacturing industry is urgently looking to employ an Internal Sales Representative at their organization

Requirements:

• Matric
• Sales/Marketing Certificate
• 5+ years of experience within the manufacturing/pharmaceutical industry
• Experience in essential oils and Pharmaceutical Industry will be an advantage.
• Market knowledge/research
• Computer knowledge – MS office applications and Sage Pastel Evolution system
• Building customer relationships

Responsibilities:

• Implement sales policies and strategy set by the sales manager
• Support the sales team to achieve targets every month
• Perform administrative duties such as take orders, capture orders on Pastel, and prepare report if requested.
• Keep customer profiles and sales figures up to date
• Professional telephone techniques, pleasant phone manners
• Clarify, determine and proper adjustment to complaints, inquiries
• Liaising closely with accounts, purchasing, and production and dispatch departments
• Customer visits
• Remain up to date with sales information, stock availability, price strategies, and long term negotiated activity while keeping the team updated on all issues
• Attend weekly sales meeting
• Perform administrative duties such as take orders, capture orders on Pastel Evolution, and prepare reports, if requested
• Compiling daily sales reports
