The Speech at Microsoft team is looking for talented and passionate sales professionals from a number of positions. Regions include: the Mid-West ( candidates local to Illinois, Wisconsin and Indiana Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee preferred ) the Northeast ( candidates local to Vermont, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Connecticut, New York preferred) and the South ( candidates Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia, Florida, North Carolina , South Carolina preferred.)
TellMe, A Microsoft Subsidiary, is seeking experienced and dynamic Solution Sales Professionals to engage with TellMe’s Go-to-Market Partners to jointly sell and close complex Interactive Voice Response (IVR) solutions into Enterprise customer care organizations. Selling TellMe’s on-demand voice solutions is an opportunity to be on the cutting edge of Microsoft’s software plus services model.
The successful candidate must have demonstrated the ability to develop and maintain excellent CxO-level and senior business line executive relationships with customers across a number of vertical markets including Financial Services, Healthcare, Travel and others. Must be able to successfully navigate through organizations to broaden relationships, understand the organization’s business needs and strengthen positioning. In addition to developing excellent customer relationships, the successful candidate must have an exceptional track record of engaging deeply with partners to develop, negotiate and close pipeline opportunities while transferring knowledge during the sales process. These professionals must also be comfortable with longer sales cycles and have multi-disciplinary abilities including working knowledge of accounting, legal and financial principles along with deep experience in complex negotiations.

TellMe voice solutions enable people to simply say what they want, hear or see the results and then connect or transact on the information. TellMe was acquired by Microsoft in April 2007 and continues to operate as a wholly owned subsidiary based in Silicon Valley.
Success in these roles will require a unique combination of world-class consultative solution selling, strategic thinking, problem solving, proposal development, outstanding communication and collaboration skills, and a strong ability to work with partners to negotiate, execute and close complex deals. Exceptional oral and written communications skills (including presentation skills) are critical.
Applicants should have a strong solution sales background with 10+ years of industry experience selling contact center solutions with demonstrated ability to achieve aggressive sales goals. A BA/BS or MS degree in Business, Computer Science or related discipline is preferred and an MBA is considered a plus. The position will require 30-40% travel.
