Job & Company Description:

My client, a fast-paced international steel manufacturing company, head quartered in Gauteng, has been operating for over 8 decades with branches both in SA and cross border.

Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the deliverables of the role include sourcing suppliers and maintaining relationships, obtaining quotes from different suppliers, negotiating prices and quantities, delivery schedules as well as working with legal counsel to ensure that all contracts relating to product procurement contain all details of the negotiation.

 

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• BEng – Industrial Engineer
• 5 years’ experience of procurement within the Manufacturing space
• Strong negotiation ability
