Vacancy Details

We are looking for an external salesperson to be responsible for creating strategic customer and business relationships.
This is for a well-established company who has been offering first class and personalized services to the military, aerospace and high specification industries for over 40 years.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Matric as a minimum
  • Technical qualification – N6 or equivalent
  • Marketing and sales qualification will be an advantage
  • 8+ years of proven technical and external sales experience within the industry preferably electronic/electrical sector
  • Computer Literate, experience with a CRM system
  • A valid driver’s license

RESPONSIBILITIES AND WORK OUTPUTS

  • Searching for and capitalizing on new and existing product/project opportunities
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the relevant market sectors, opportunities, customers and opposition
  • Analysing current marketplace and ensuring feedback is given regarding important market and competitive information
  • Managing employer’s expectations, client relationships and providing these with excellent service and support
  • Identifying and building new business relationships
  • When required, giving sales presentations to various levels of audiences
  • As and when required, liaising with any business partner regarding exhibitions or customers’ days etc (company events)
  • Arranging and attending these events
