Vacancy Details

Do you have an excellent sales track record in sales calling on the construction industry, renovations companies, architects, design companies etc.?Our client requires a self driven independent go-getter to manager new business sales in the western cape area.  Your interest in wallpaper, decorating & design will be highly advantageous. Must have own transport and drivers license. Excellent communication skills in English and Afrikaans.

REQUIREMENTS

• Matric, qualification in either Interior Design or Architecture would be ideal
• Minimum of 2 years sales experience within the following industries:

• Wallpaper
• Textiles
• Interior decorating / interior design
• Construction

• Valid SA drivers’ licence
• Own reliable vehicle
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Computer literate on MS Office is essential
• Strong administration skills

DUTIES

• Building relationships with clients for future ongoing business potential
• Calling on new and existing clients
• Compiling quotations
• Follow up on quotations sent giving advise on any adjustments that are needed
• Closing of sales
• Cold calling new potential clients
• Client relationship management
• Site visits to assess and measure project requirements
• Achievement of revenue targets
• Weekly and Monthly reports
• After sales service

Salary:  Basic salary negotiable dependent on experience, plus commission, cellphone allowance and fuel card
