To track and analyse all brand, competitor and promotional activities in supporting Trade Marketing, and to ensure the successful implementation of key projects. This role is a key point of contact for the Field Sales Team for demand planning and forecasting.

1.1. Tracking and Planning
• Present research and analysis outcomes in a logical and interesting format that is understood by the audience, along with recommendations and suggestions to improve the situation for the business
• Independently run with projects that entail researching, gathering, analysing, compiling and presenting accurate findings and results to interested parties
• Analyse internal and external customer data
• Determine the quality and quantity of data to be shared with the Commercial team
• Engage with key internal contacts for gathering of relevant information
1.2. Market Brand Analysis
• Monitor competitor activity and communicate findings to Marketing and Commercial teams
• Complete competitor pricing analysis and advise on competitive pricing range
• Prepare regular price review and analysis reports to determine the market situation and competitiveness against the main competitors in the market
• Explore new potential markets where the product or service can be introduced
• Make product marketing decisions based on the target audience and the nature of the product or service
• Based on the data, prepare the framework for marketing strategies for the company
1.3. NPD Management
• Create relevant PDF and listing documents, and track and monitor listings
• Sign off on trade presenters with relevant members of Commercial & Marketing teams
• Manage the allocation of trade presenters and samples
• Plan and forecast for the launch of new products
• Track and monitor the distribution and sales of new products on weekly basis
• Conduct post analysis of new product performance
• Ensure daily, weekly and monthly tracking on new brands
• Ensure 100% accuracy on trade presenters
• Engage with key internal contacts for gathering of relevant information

• Matric and a relevant 3-year Diploma /Degree

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Commercial environment
• Demonstrated knowledge in Sales/ Trade Marketing, Brand and Competitor Awareness as well as new product management
• Advanced MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
• Excellent administration skills
• Demonstrated customer knowledge
• Sound understanding off the FMCG industry, with Dairy focus being an advantage
• Strong analytical, interpretative and investigative skills
• Information System oriented
