SALARY : An inclusive Remuneration Package of Salary: R444 921.00Per annum.
CENTRE : Head Office Pietermaritzburg

REQUIREMENTS : An appropriate Bachelor’s Degree of Architecture or Equivalent as recognized by the
South African Council for the Architectural Profession; Registration with the South African
Council for Architectural Profession; Valid driver’s license; Computer literacy; minimum of
two(2) years post registration experience; Experience in Architectural design process
from Project inception to close out will serve as a strong recommendation; knowledge of
PFMA, Treasury Regulations, Occupational Health and Safety Act & Regulations,
Architectural Profession Act, Constitution Industry Development Board Act &
Regulations, Government Immovable Asset Management Act; Ability to understand how
to prepare reports, submissions and presentations; Ability to undertake risk analysis and
risk mitigation strategy.

DUTIES : Development, interpretation and customization of functional and technical norms and
standard; Monitor that all infrastructure projects implemented by implementing Agent(s)
comply with approved functional and technical norms and standards; Make inputs to the
development of policies, procedures and criteria for infrastructure projects; Prepare
commissioning plans including plans for associated equipment required for full
functioning of the facilities; Prepare Master plans, Project Briefs, Project Execution Plan
Version 1 as part of the Infrastructure Programme Management Plan, Operational
Narratives, Accommodation Schedules, Business Cases for projects; Provide inputs for
the singing of on Projects Execution Plans as prepared by implementing Agents; Provide
inputs to the design of Technical Condition Assessment and interpretation of Technical
Condition Assessment findings
