ARTISAN FOREMAN GRADE A (DRAUGHTSMAN: MARINE WEAPONS
ELECTRONIC ENGINEERING 3 POSTS

SALARY : OSD Salary Grading: F.Art-A R 216 744 – R 332 277 Applicable Core:
Engineering Related and Support Personnel
CENTRE : Director Fleet Logistics (NES) Simon’s Town

 

REQUIREMENTS : Electrical/Electronic related Trade Test in terms of section 13(2) (h) of the
Manpower Training Act. 5 Years post qualification experience as an Artisan and
a valid Driver’s License. Special Requirements: Marine Weapons Electronic /
Electrical related experience in conducting of Preliminary Investigations,
Feasibility Studies, and Compiling Engineering Change Work, Specifications and
Statements of Work is essential. Analytical and problem solving skills and
interpretation of analysis. Demonstrated proficiency in CAD (preferably Caddie)
and MS Office suite. Knowledge of report writing and legal compliance.
Technical report writing skills. Planning and organizing skills. Conflict
management.

 

DUTIES : Conduct Preliminary Investigations. Conduct of Feasibility Studies, Compile
Engineering Change Work Packages.
