Position Summary
To ensure that campaigns are planned correctly and on schedule so that exciting brochures with the right mixes of products are obtained to reach the optimum sales mix and direct profit margin
Meet profit plan requirement
Support overall growth target by analysis of previous launches, promotions and sales in order to maximise all opportunities in all Campaigns.
The Pre- and post-campaign analysis resulting from this will ensure future fact-based campaign planning.
Campaign Schedule Management
Setting up and coordination of campaign schedule to ensure that brochure plans are executed timeously.
CAMPAIGN SCHEDULE
Setting up and running pagination brainstorms to plan paginations of brochures.
BROCHURE PAGINATIONS
Setting up and running of brochure pagination reviews, brochure margin reviews and presidential reviews to get optimal input on planned brochures.
PRE-CAMPAIGN ANALYSIS DECKS
Setting up and co-ordinating cross functional readiness meetings
CAMPAIGN REDY TO GO LIVE
Relationship Building
„X Establish strong relationships with sales, operations, creative and finance. Communicate with category managers & estimator frequently to get input and accurate product & promotional information for campaign planning.
ACCURATE & COMPLETE LEADERLISTS
„X Ongoing interaction with the creative department to facilitate efficient communication between the marketing department and the creative department and to ensure a creative and accurate brochure execution.
CREATIVE BRIEFS
„X Contribute to all planning conferences by presenting campaign history and outcomes, and future plans. After conferences, consolidate all promotional and new product information in a campaignly energy grid.
PLANNING CONFERENCE DECKS, ENERGY GRID
„X Liaising with the finance department before and after campaigns, to ensure correct costs in the system during campaign planning and correct sales reports after campaigns.
Systems maintenance
Maintaining the PCMS and GSAM system by liaising with Europe on correct coding of products and by downloading of latest product information on a weekly basis.
Job Requirements
„« A matric certificate, but preferably a relevant degree (e.g. B.Com Marketing)
„« Advanced maths and stats
„« Advanced Excel
„« Experience in Marketing management
„« Cosmetic Industry knowledge (advantage)
„« At least 5 years in Marketing or retail sales company.
