Job Title: Engineering Manager

Job Description

• Instituting systems and processes to manage, control and improve machine reliability and performance
• Managing the Engineering Department in line with the company’s Performance Management Programme
• Managing efficient cost control of the department for resources, outsourcing, spares and overtime
• Management of risk, plant safety rules and regulations in line with the requirements of the OHSAct
• Management of engineering projects (including construction regulations and safe control of contractors) in accordance with the OHSAct
• Capex preparation and implementation

Job Requirements

National Diploma in Engineering with a Government Certificate of Competency
Minimum of 5 years working experience in a 3000KW factory.
Good business communication skills, both written and verbal, at all levels
Strong management, leadership and interpersonal skills
Be confident, organised and display initiative
Ability to work under pressure
Have fair knowledge of IR principles and Labour Relations
Advanced computer literacy
