The Western Cape Government creates laws for and provides services to the people of the Western Cape. The Western Cape Government works closely with the national government and municipalities in the Western Cape to ensure that the citizens of the province have access to the services, facilities and information they need and are committed to delivering an open opportunity society for all.
You can read more about the Western Cape Government, and you can also contact the government if you have any questions or have problems accessing government services, facilities or information from the official website: http://www.westerncape.gov.za
The Western Cape Government website is a single point of access to government information and services for citizens of the Western Cape.
The Western Cape government advertises public and government jobs on their official website which is managed by the Directorate: e-Government for Citizens, which forms part of the Department of the Premier. The directorate also maintains and manages the Western Cape Government intranet, the Western Cape Government Contact Centre (which includes the Call Centre, Presidential Hotline, Walk-in Centre and E-mail Channel) and the Cape Access programme.
If you are in Cape Town, you can visit our Walk-in Centre at 142 Long Street, where you can speak to one of our communication officers for assistance face-to-face, or use the internet and browse through brochures and other helpful information on government services.
