Vacancy Details

Purpose of the Role

Ensuring the accuracy of financial documents, as well as their compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Performance Areas:

• Review of general ledger and foreign creditors reconciliations and resolve reconciling items
• Run and manage month end and year end processes
• Provide technical advice to the finance team and business to enforce internal controls and policies
• Prepare monthly management accounts (analyze TB to Income statement,
• Balance Sheet, and Cash flow)
• Assist with co-coordinating year end and half year audits. Assisting in completing of audit pack
• Prepare budgets and revised forecasts
• Prepare cash flow forecasts
• Release EFT payments
• Liaise with the banks
• Meeting financial reporting obligations and deadlines
• Prepare IAS/evaluations/hedging transactions
• Manage teams (i.e. accounts payable/receivables)
• Ad hoc requests from FE

 

Minimum Qualification:

• BCom Degree or National Diploma in Finance, Accounting
• Completed SAICA articles is highly preferable

Minimum Experience:

• 3- 5 years’ experience working as a Senior Financial Accountant
• Solid consolidations experience is an added advantage
