SENIOR MANAGER :WATER SERVICES
[TASK GRADE 17: TOTAL REMUNERATION PACKAGE R766 642.54 PER ANNUM]
BTech in Civil Engineering or relevant qualification at (NQF Level 6)
At least 5 – 7 years relevant experience of which 3 years must be at managerial level
Current Registration with the relevant Professional Body
Valid Driver’s License
Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
Overall leadership in the development and implementation of the strategic objectives of the Water Service Authority function and overall responsibility for Auditor General Requirements.
Responsible for developing and achieving annual or budgeted service delivery targets and add value for the water services business unit
Coordinating Business Plans and implementation strategic plans for Water Services projects
Aligning systems and procedures to support administrative reporting and monitoring and/ or developing guidelines to clarify operational and maintenance functional requirements
Formulates and/ or manages the evaluation and review of the Water Services Provision’s Operations and Maintenance Development Plan against critical deliverables as identified in the municipality’s Integrated Development Plan
Prepares capital and operating estimates and controls the section’s expenditure against the approved budget.

Appointments will be subjected to compulsory pre-employment screening in the form of qualification, reference, criminal checks and competency assessment (where applicable).
Candidate in possession of foreign qualification should attach a certificate of evaluation of their qualifications from SAQA. If the candidate has not been contacted within a month after the closing date he/she must accept that his/her application was unsuccessful.
