The purpose for the job it toanalyze business processes by identifying improvements, business rules, controls, flaws and automation to re-engineer business process design; and to monitor implementation of new business process models and new process performance.
1.Engage and interview, the necessary stakeholders, as per LEAN team prioritized focus areas, to understand current operational and business processes that require analysis and re-engineering.
2.Conduct mapping sessions with departments to facilitate process enhancement and change in terms of business strategies.
3.Build and maintain relationships with departmental heads throughout the business to ensure free flow of communication and remain updated with process flaw identification and adaptations that may impact optimal process design and flow.
4.Prepare and document process information using visual diagrams in the form of business process models for purposes of analysis and improvement identification.
5.Analyze and compare business process models based on current process flow, controls and technical problem areas to a desired future model and process flow.
Process Re-Engineering and Implementation:
1.Re-engineer and design business process models to align to business strategy and enhanced operational objectives to ensure optimization of resources and alleviate cumbersome processes through automation.
2.Examine and document the process change impact on strategy, employees, operations and system software.
3.Document the necessary controls and identify the necessary rules and protocols that govern the implementation of new business processes.
4.Redrafting procedures and policies related to re-engineered business processes and procedures.
5.Document and list changes to business processes for purposes of annual internal audits.
6.Draft Business Process Management System specifications and engage with Business Solutions, IT, Data management and external teams for process automation.
7.Assist in testing of automation solutions to ensure business process specifications is successfully implemented.
8.Assist in training and implementation of re-engineered business processes and automation solutions.
9.Pilot and monitor process change implementation through engaging with stakeholders on process performance.
10.Ensures communication with all stakeholders in respect of changes to business systems and processes.
Mostly Office Based. Limited Travelling will be required.
Qualifications & Experience:
1.Post Matric Qualification (Business-related Diploma or Degree)
2.5-8 years related working experience; however, various industry sector experience is advantages.
3.Lean/Six Sigma Certification or related BPM Certification is preferred.
Skills & Knowledge Required:
1.Proficient in MS Office
2.Must have strong analytical background
3.Excellent diagramming and communication skills
4.Thorough understanding of business organizational system theory
5.Good knowledge of policy and procedure drafting
6.Good understanding of protocols such as SOAP, WSDL and XML
7.Strong knowledge of system tools such as ERM, BI tools
