Overview The B-BBEE unit of the Broadening Participation Division within the dti has a vacant position for an Advanced Team Assistant which is now open for applications.

 

Duties

To render administrative support to the BBBEE Unit. Organise meetings for the B-BBEE Unit.
Book venue and parking for the external stakeholders. Distribute meeting agendas, applications, reports and minutes of the meetings timeously. Keep all records (filling) of the minutes and correspondence.
Provide information on B-BBEE to clients.
Deal with enquiries on B-BBEE and on the work of the unit. Keep all records (filling) of the clients of the unit and correspondences.
Collect the progress reports (quarterly and annually) of B-BBEE Sector Codes and submit to the Unit.
Draft submissions, memoranda, letters, reports, presentation, etc
Manage the diary of two Directorate of the B-BBEE Unit.
The incumbent will support two Directors, three Deputy Directors and also assist other team members within the EEIP Secretariat

 

Requirements

Matric with an Diploma in Office Management.
An appropriate National Diploma in Office Management or appropriate diploma in Business Administrative will be an added advantage.
1 – 2 years’ experience either as a Legal Secretary or Administrative officer
Proven experience in Office administration / typing of legal documents
Computer literacy in Microsoft Office,
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work under pressure
Diary management skills.
