Etlin International (Pty) Ltd is a well-established importer within the wholesale trading industry and is in need of a Cold Store Supervisor to join their Cold Store Team in Johannesburg (City Deep) Branch. This position will be responsible To execute the cold store operations plan, supervise the cold store’s day-to-day operations, health & safety by investing in own personal development, living the Etlin values and supervising direct reports.

Basic technical understanding of equipment (material handling)
Knowledge of hazardous materials spills such as oil, acid and product spills
Understanding of mobile racking operating functions
Understanding of basic maintenance
Understanding of Warehouse and Food Safety Management Systems
Knowledge of proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials in accordance with DAFF regulations
Understanding of cold chain process and procedure requirements
Basic technical understanding of equipment (material handling)

Requirements:
5. Qualifications:
Minimum education (essential): Matric
Minimum education (desirable): NQF level 5 Higher Certificate in the supply chain, and/or distribution logistics and/or commerce

6. Experience:
Minimum applicable experience: 3-5 years experience in a Supervisor role or similar within the food and/or cold storage industry.
Preferred nature of experience: + 5 years experience in a Supervisor role or similar within the food and/or cold storage industry.

7. Legal requirements and adverse working conditions:
Required to work in low temperatures (sub-zero)
Working long hours and weekends
Working at very high heights.
Required to handle a high volume of picking products
Clear Criminal Record
