Our reputable Insurance Industry client that is based in Johannesburg, is seeking a skilled IT Test Analyst / IT Quality Engineer for Automation Testing, to join their team in JHB or CPT.

Job Title: IT Quality Engineer – (IT Automation Testing)
Location: Johannesburg

Job Summary:
Responsibilities:
The Quality Engineer will create, update, refactor Test Cases and Artefacts to ensure that all necessary scenarios are covered in the designed tests, using applicable Test Techniques. Troubleshoot the automation software during the various testing and deployment stages.

Requirements:
Grade 12
IT Qualification, relevant tertiary degree, or diploma
ISTQB Foundation Certification in Software Testing
Certification in Automation testing / engineering
Short-term Insurance / Insure-Tech industry experience required
5+ Years’ experience in Manual and Automation Software Testing experience
Postman, SoapUI, Jira, Selenium with Java (or similar)
SQL – design and install software databases
Automation software/tools
Atlassian Suite (Confluence and JIRA)
Modern Test Methodologies.
Must understand QA processes and methodologies in an agile software development environment.
Experience in creating test cases in conjunction with business
Experience in creating and updating test plans for regression and integration testing.
Defect-tracking tools experience.
Understanding of database concepts
API & Cloud experience (Advantageous)

Salary:
R45 000 – R55 000 (CTC), including Provident Fund, Medical Aid, Group Life Cover, Income Protector
