Our client in the manufacturing industry is urgently looking to employ a Technical Draughtsman at their organization

Requirements:

• Matric
• Technical Draughting qualification
• 2 years of experience in a similar position
• Previous sheet metal experience is an added advantage
• 3D CAD Software experience (Solid Edge preferred)
• Own reliable transport and a Valid driver’s license
• Experience / training with a CAD package, Solid Edge & AutoCAD preferential
• Experience with ERP or MRP software beneficial
• Experience with MS Office software
• Must be technically and mechanically minded

Responsibilities:

• Internal Sales / Customer Liaison
• Data capturing
• BOM creation
• Costing & Quoting
• Basic design / Development
• Draughting / Manufacturing Drawings
• Drawing maintenance
• Prepare manufacturing instructions / Works Orders
