Vacancy Details

Well-established and growing company involved in PV/Solar installations seeks to employ an Installation Electrician. Based in SPRINGS.

For the position you would be required to have:

• Trade Tested Electrician
• Must have experience installing solar PV systems
• Registered Installations Electrician or (Master Electrician) with Department of Labour ESSENTIAL
• Ability to work at heights
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transport

Responsibilities would include you to:

• Install solar photovoltaic (PV) systems according to design specifications, applicable codes, and safety standards.
• Conduct site assessments to evaluate the feasibility of solar installations, including assessing roof conditions, shading analysis, and electrical system compatibility.
• Perform electrical wiring and interconnection of solar panels, inverters, and other system components.
• Conduct troubleshooting and repair work on solar energy systems, including identifying and resolving issues related to wiring, connections, and equipment malfunctions.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely completion of installations, while adhering to project schedules and quality standards.
• Conduct system performance testing and commissioning, ensuring optimal functionality and efficiency

Salary negotiable around R35k per month
