Vacancy Details

We are seeking an Industrial Engineering Student for our client in Automotive Industry.

Duties:

• Compile Standard Operating Procedures (SOP);
• Develop and write procedures that can explain to the teams that are fitting parts what, how and why parts are fitted;
• Good knowledge on time studies, flow charts and pillar loadings to improve productivity;
• Support with problem-solving activities where possible by helping to identify the root cause and implementation of containment & corrective action processes (short term and long term);
• Inform the Supervisor of any abnormalities or potential problems/bottlenecks that could hinder production flow;
• Participate in Continuous Improvement Process activities as required;
• The ability to use part lists on all major models;
• Must be able to read and understand dimensional technical specification to support the development of process improvements;
• Time management is very important;
• Daily reporting on progress on all projects;
• Adhoc function which may fall in the ambit of the job requirements;
• POE to be submitted.
