A Well-established Stationery Company situated in Cleveland, Johannesburg is looking for a dynamic and passionate Junior Graphic Designer to join their team.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design for print & digital based off various brand CI’s
• Design of presentations
• Develop new concepts & packaging
• Maintain and update existing designs
• Photography & Editing
• Assisting senior graphic designers with artwork and layout
• Design and collaborate in Catalogue and Brochure designs
• Creating mock-ups and proofs
• Videography and editing
• Creating content for Social Media
• Other duties as assigned

Essential Requirements:

• A National Diploma in Visual Communication Design, Graphic Design or equivalent
• At least 2 years graphic design work experience in marketing.
• Knowledge and experience in:
  • Adobe Illustrator
  • Adobe Photoshop
  • Adobe InDesign
  • Adobe Premier Pro
• Photography & Videography skills will be a plus.

• Good understanding of PowerPoint, and Microsoft essential, such as Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Proven track record with quality designs that have been pushed to the marketplace
• Strong, conceptual thinker who possesses a wide range of design principles and production methods for digital, print, packaging, branding, typography, catalogue production, and more
• Advanced knowledge of contemporary media, trends and technologies
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills in order to juggle multiple projects at the same time; keen attention to detail
• Successfully manages time, priorities, workflow and schedule in order to meet deadlines; able to work quickly and efficiently
• Possess solid presentation, listening and communication skills
• Open and receptive to design critiques, while also able to confidently and respectfully represent reasons behind design choices
• Resourceful – able to problem solve and find multiple design solutions, especially under narrow parameters or strict project timelines and budgets
• Self-driven, proactive, team player
• Ability to function well under pressure
• Willing to work in a corporate environment
