Position Overview:

As a Senior Pavement Engineer, you will play a crucial role in our engineering team. You will be responsible for overseeing the design, analysis, and implementation of pavement-related projects. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the durability, safety, and cost-effectiveness of our pavement designs. You will collaborate with a team of talented engineers and work closely with clients to deliver projects on time and within budget.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and execution of pavement designs for various infrastructure projects.
• Conduct pavement condition assessments and recommend appropriate maintenance and rehabilitation strategies.
• Utilize industry-standard software and tools to analyze and optimize pavement structures.
• Provide technical expertise during project planning, construction, and post-construction phases.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including civil engineers, project managers, and stakeholders.
• Prepare comprehensive reports, presentations, and technical documentation.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements and best practices in pavement engineering.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 8 years of experience in pavement engineering and design.
• Proficiency in using pavement design software (e.g., Pavement ME Design, AASHTOWare, or similar).
• In-depth knowledge of industry codes, standards, and guidelines related to pavement design and construction.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor junior engineering staff.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification.
• Experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with geotechnical engineering and materials testing.
• Knowledge of sustainability practices in pavement design.
