The successful incumbent will responsible for the commercial administration of sections of the project reporting to the Senior Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Maintain an up-to-date measure of the value of work done
Produce monthly valuations/certifications
Validate, agree and signoff on final accounts with PQS and Sub-contractors
Measure extra’s and VO’s
Measure sub-contract work and authorise fortnightly payments and monthly payment reconciliation schedules
Skills, Experience & Education
BSc (Quantity Surveying) or National Diploma (Quantity Surveying)
Must have at least 8 years and more related experience in the construction
Knowledge and experience working with JBCC
Contract Law and insurances
Quantity surveying
Must have basic Financial reporting and cash management
Must know Construction methods and outputs, programming and scheduling
Must be willing to travel as and when the project requires
